This was the wedding announcement that former ON24 reporter/anchor Lisa Lombardi sent out. Pretty ingenious.

This photo was taken by Rich at the ON24 layoff party. Here, Gaelen Gates, Me and Peter Shaplen are sporting “Money down the toilet” T-shirts in honor of our former company. Gaelen and I went to law school – Peter went on to be the go-to-guy for network TV and radio news pool-coverage of major media events.
A sample we got for the proposed ON24 Camera Crew polo shirts. This logo was to go on the backs of the shirts. We thought the “24″ was too dark against the black and that it puckered too much.
This was my last paycheck from KRON-TV in San Francisco before I left to start work at ON24. It was mostly unused vacation hours earned.
Here I am showing my gardening skills at ON24; trimming the dead leaves from a plant in the newsroom.
During New Year’s 2000, this is my only souvenir. At the time, I was working at ON24 and my shift was 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. My normal bedtime was 6:30 p.m.
Although I set my alarm to wake up early, I slept through midnight and completely missed the Year 2000 celebration. But kept this noisemaker for almost 8 years until I scanned it for this site and tossed it in the trash bin.
I used to have this guide pinned up to my cubicle wall at ON24. I’d make photo copies and pass it out to new reporters – particularly those who had never written for broadcast before.
Here is a copy of the final ON24 news schedule that I took with me on the day ON24 shuttered its news division, seeing no future in ad-supported broadband streaming media. (A few years later a little company called YouTube thought otherwise.)
Although I am a distant relation at best, I’ve always been a big fan of the Speakman Company and it’s plumbing supplies. I used to have this hangin up in my cubicle at ON24.
Here’s the badge I wore at the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA) convention in San Francisco. Being that I was a local board member, I was compelled to attend.
