My brother Kenny and his wife were in a car accident earlier this year. They were rear-ended at high speed and the car was totaled as it was pushed into the car in front of them. They, thankfully, had only minor injuries and recovered.

svbiz ink domestic partner Insurance - 2002Now for non-gay people this may not seem like a big deal. But believe me, it is. This card was the first insurance card that I had that included Rich as my domestic partner and dependent. If you click and enlarge the photo, you’ll notice the name of “Joshua,” too. Rich became the legal guardian of his cousin after the death of Josh’s mother – this happened well before Rich and I ever met. They came as a package deal. Here, Josh was included on my insurance as my stepchild.

toilet$toilet$BACK2.Gaelen Gates and I made up T-Shirts for Peter’s going away party with these pictures on the front and back. We made one for Peter and 1 for each of us. Little did we know that the day of Peter’s party was also the day that the news division would be shut down and all of us laid off.
